Transfer Policies and Procedures ( Reviewed and Updated on 23/2/2012 )
1. A student who has previously enrolled in another institution in Singapore and applied for a transfer to STSOM is
deemed to have withdrawn from previous School and need to re-apply as new at STSOM (please refer to Student Admission Procedure).
2. A student who is enrolled in STSOM in a course but wishes to change to another course in STSOM is deemed as an Internal Transfer.
Student fills and submits the Course Application Form, Application Fee and the supporting documents to the Education Manager.
Application will be passed to the Academic Director/Principal for approval within the next 1 working day.
If approved by Academic Director/Principal, Education Manager will submit Student Pass Application to the ICA for a transfer request.
- If the transfer has been approved by ICA, Education Manager will issue the Letter of Offer/Acceptance and inform the student within 1 working day.
- If the transfer has been rejected by ICA, Education Manager will inform student immediately and withdraw the student from the application and put
the file into the Rejected Folder.
Student is required to withdraw from the current course and to fill up the Withdrawal/Refund Form.
Education Manager to verify for any unreturned property and Administrative Manager to check for outstanding payment.
A payment has to be made immediately if there is unsettled fee by the student.
Upon confirmation that there is no outstanding payment, Finance Manager will check for any refund.
If there is a refund, the Finance Department will issue to the students name.
Education Manager will inform the student of the refund and collection of cheque within 2 working days.
If there is no refund to be made, Student will sign the new contract and make payment for the new course (please refer to Student Admission Procedure).
